1、創作背景
《老鷹之歌》if i could (el condor pasa)——祕魯民歌《雄鷹飛逝》(el condor pasa),又譯《老鷹之歌》、《飛逝的雄鷹》《神鷹帕薩》或《禿鷹飛過》。
el condor pasa《山鷹之歌》是一首反抗西班牙殖民者的南美祕魯民歌，後被paul simon重唱組改編，用英文翻唱。el condor pasa 的原版據傳是基於祕魯自由戰士tupac amaro的故事。
2023年，他在領導一場反抗西班牙人的起義中被害，死後變成一隻condor，永遠翱翔於安第斯山上。祕魯人民暨此體現對自由的追求不息，而歌名的直譯就是」雄鷹在飛」。
這首歌原本是祕魯的民俗**家丹尼爾·阿羅密亞斯·羅布列斯的作品，2023年首先被艾多·阿德法爾以吉他獨奏的方式發表。
2023年，歐洲著名的「印加民俗樂團」再度灌錄此曲，恰巧被到巴黎旅行的保羅.西蒙聽到，保羅.西蒙相當喜歡這首曲子，一時興起填上英文歌詞，後來回到美國後出版成唱片。
另外，著名瑞士樂團班得瑞（bandari）也在**《寂靜山林》（silence with sound from nature)中重新演繹了這首樂曲。
2、影響
享譽世界的祕魯名歌《老鷹之歌》以其悠遠、神祕的旋律和古樸、獨特的安第斯山區民族樂器編曲令無數人對南美印第安文化心馳神往。近日，祕魯**將作曲家達尼埃爾·阿洛米亞·羅布萊斯(daniel alomia robles)於2023年創作的這首名曲宣佈為該國的國家文化遺產。
祕魯國家文化研究院的學者認為，《老鷹之歌》中濃郁安第斯民族特色的**和奔放不羈的歌詞使它具有了喚醒祕魯民族認同感、反抗殖民主義的政治意義。長久以來，祕魯民族主義者都認為，祕魯不是屬於白人和外國人的，而是屬於安第斯山東麓的印第安人的。
《老鷹之歌》的詞曲作者當年正是在安第斯山礦區目睹了祕魯勞工反抗外國企業主壓榨的血淚鬥爭之後，寫下了這部說唱劇的。
在90多年前，把這樣的主題搬上戲劇舞臺，無疑是一個巨大的創新，因此受到了觀眾的熱烈歡迎。僅在利馬著名的馬奇劇院，這部說唱劇5年內，就演出了3000餘場。
