讀法：在朗讀時，\"月份"\一般直接用英語讀出；\"日"\則要讀成\"the + 序數詞"\；
讀年份時，一般分為兩個單位來讀，前兩個數為一個單位，後兩個數為一個單位。如：2023年讀作ni***een eighty-two, 2023年讀作ni***een hundred。
如果是三位數，先讀第一位，再把後兩個數合起來讀。如：984年可讀為nine eighty-four,757年讀成seven fifty-seven。

書寫方面，先看下面的兩個例子：
1、1986 年 10 月 23 日→october 23(rd), 1986
2、2002 年 1 月 17 日→january 17(th), 2002
從上面的例子可以看出，英語日期的表達與漢語不同。英語表達的順序為\"月、
日、年\"，因此 2023年11月8日就可寫成 november 8th, 2004，還可表示為 november eighth,
2004。
另外，也可寫成\"日、月、年\"，8th november, 2004 即 the eighth of november,
2004。
1）「日子」用基數詞和序數詞都可以接受
如：march 28th, 2009 / march 28, 2009
2)「月份」和「日子」可以換位， 英式：28 march, 2009； 美式：march 28，2009
3）縮寫時容易造成誤解，英式：「日/月/年」；美式「月/日/年」
如：2009 年 3 月 1 日
英式縮寫：01/03/2009
美式縮寫：03/01/2009
兩種方法都存在，英式寫法的順序比較受歡迎，國際使用較多。

關於日期的寫法，應注意以下幾點：
①年份應完全寫出，不能簡寫。
②月份要用英文名稱，不要用數字代替。
③月份名稱多用公認的縮寫式。但 may, june, july, 因為較短，不可縮寫。
④寫日期時，可用基數詞1，2，3，4，5，……28，29，30，31等，也可用序數詞 lst, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, ……28th, 29th, 30th, 31lst等。但最好用基數詞，簡單明瞭。
